seriously THE BEST lemon-poppyseed cake I’ve ever had. we came in the afternoon as they were closing for their switchover and the cake was still moist and delicious. We had two cappuccinos as well — which has been some of the best we’ve had during our time in rome — there was no burnt taste to the beans. this was all we had and stopped at a strange time but wonderful service and friendly humans. Sorry for the image of the crumbs we devoured this cake before thinking to take a photo 😂😅
Outdoor seating at a fairly mediocre cafe, albeit with delicious croissants.
Positives:
They do a cute layered caffe latte here, which tasted good and was nice because finding lattes in Rome is genuinely not easy at all.
Their freshly-baked croissants were simply outstanding and some of the best that I’ve ever tried.
Negatives:
The quiche was nice but VERY small (about the size of my palm) and honestly not at all worth the €10+ price we paid for it.
Their slices of brown bread were very dry and not flavorful at all.
The avocado slices were black and mushy, I certainly wouldn’t have served it to any customer.
The scrambled eggs were…fine? Not seasoned at all though.
If you just want a proper latte and croissant, check this place out. Otherwise, I’d say that there are certainly better options for breakfast and lunch in Rome to try out than this place.
Simple but really good food, excelent, polite staff.
Such a cute place with friendly faces and delicious cakes! The tiramisu is to die for! The pineapple ginger juice is so refreshing! Thank you so much!
Tiramisu not bad but the prices are total rip off! 8 euros for tiramisu is one of the cheapest stuff you can find in their menu.
Really good coffee! And very friendly staff too. Perfect place for a morning coffee and croissant 😋 they also have alternative for milk!
Great local spot in Rome. Amazing pastries and good coffee
The best breakfast I had in Rome! I wish I would have remembered the name of the dish I had, but it was a dark toast with honey and powered over it with fresh fruit and spread and it was quit refreshing after having croissants a few days in a row.
